Can you believe me I am, Still Alive!

... Much to your dismay. XD But really, the title is part of the lyrics to a song from a game called Portal. (Yes, I'm THAT big of a geek. XP)

But, anyway, the reason why I'm posting today is... well... I'm not sure. But, I guess I could/am going to tell you about the one thing I have planned for my dolls next! :D

BUT FIRST!!! I have a question. Would you like me to post some of the drawings I have done so far on my blog? If you want to answer, check my poll with your answer RIGHT NOW. (I'd prefer if you went back and read the rest of this post afterwards! XD)

So, my mom is starting to sort of buy a new sewing machine since our "good one" like, imploded(lol not really) so it doesn't work anymore. But, aside from this "minor setback" that keeps the two of us from quilting, we still have a really crappy sewing machine from the 1980's. :(

Why am I telling you this? Well, my point is that I plan on sewing special outfits for my dolls. Yes, special outfits.

If you remember on my doll's blog, Gwen mentioned that everyone portrays a country? Well, since I'm that big of a geek(with the emphasis on THAT) I'm going to be sewing little cosplays for them! :D I figured out how to draft my own patterns for them, and since I REALLY do like sewing, I figured, "Why not?" and I'm probably going to start it really soon. :3

On a similar note, I already explained to my mom that I'm going to be starting to make a Fem! Canada cosplay. So, since I can't knit to save my life, she's going to be knitting a hooded red cardigan with a white band across the bottom with red maple leaves inside the band (yeah, I felt really bad about asking for something ya know, THAT precise/intricate, but the event is like, in January, so I'm giving her lots of time to make it... ) (._. ) And I'm going to be drafting the patterns for the "suit" and sewing it myself, so THAT will certainly be interesting! (^_^;)"

Haha, what I do in my free time. Or, at least, plan on doing! XD

So, to sum things up, I'm going to be sewing outfits that look like the ones worn by characters in an anime(and manga, btw) for my dollings and myself. ^-^ I'm super excited, but It'll be... interesting... to say the least! Heh heh...

Oh, and my birthday's on the 23rd, just in case anyone was wondering about that. .___.

Guess what I just got!

Why I totally love England.

*This is the story of the day I actually did something super duper productive*

Alright. So, today my dad and I were out shopping at an international food market. They have different sections for food that's from different countries, and I, being like, TOTALLY in love with anything from England(or Canada, for that matter. ;D) wanted to go to the English section; mostly because they have Canadian chocolate bars that aren't sold in the US(such as better tasting KitKats, Aero Bars, and Mars Bars). But, I found some lemon curd! 8D So I was like, "OMGZ WE HAS TO GET THIS!!!" because it's like, totally awesome.

Since I wasn't really feeling in the mood to just eat the awesome imported spread with a spoon(which I still did anyway. XD) I thought, "Hey, why don't I make scones?" So, about 2 hours later, I was in the kitchen and actually making some scones. (Hey, I know this whole thing may be like, super-duper-ultra-boring so far, but I spent like, two hours doing everything, and I haven't baked scones before, and for me, this was a practically life-changing event.)

While my scones were in the oven, I had the idea of making tea so I could be having English food; which was a pretty fruking(don't ask) awesome idea. (Despite the fact that all the countries in Hetalia say England's scones suck. XD But nobody mentioned the tea being terrible, and I like tea, so I thought, "Why not?") And to say the least, the whole process was interesting...

Now, for the revealing of it all...

This, my dear readers, is what two hours of work and standing to make authentic English food looks like. I made everything in the picture, except for the cookies(which I didn't eat at all) and the lemon curd, which we bought. Oh, and the scones probably look weird because they're brushed with egg yolk, but I don't really care. If they taste delicious(in my opinion), does appearance REALLY matter? XD But, anyway, I used our fine china, because I wanted it to be all special, considering I haven't had tea in two years. D:

The cream and sugar dishes. :D I even got a sugar spoon, so I'm pretty proud of myself. *is pretty proud*

Yum. Lemon curd... And I know it may not LOOK appetizing, but trust me. This stuff is AWESOME.

And last, but not least, my tea. It was AMAZING. In fact, I had about seven cups of tea today JUST because it was so awesome. 8D

And this, is why I totally love England; not the character. (Although, for the record, I do like England in Hetalia... ;D)

P.S. Because I loved this food SOOO much(oh, the irony...), and it's all relatively easy to make, I decided that I'm going to have tea and scones for breakfast every day now. :) It's better than having a bowl of cereal every day, to say the least...

Pi day!

Happy Pi day, everyone! Did you know this is one of my favourite holidays? :D I even memorized quite a bit of Pi! And I'm pretty proud, if I do say so myself. ;)

And, there's yet another bit of information I would like to share with you! Kanani's new wig from Shopoholican on eBay, or Blythaholic on Etsy, came yesterday! :D :D :D Now she looks TOTALLY amazing! And, I can take pictures of her again!

This is like, a totally amazing day for me. In fact, one of the best one's I've had in forever and a half. ;)

Well, as probably only Phoebe(from LoveThatDoll) knows, I'm going on vacation today! :) I'm really excited about it, but I do have a teensy poll to go with it...

Also, as the title implies, there is something that I'm considering to sell. I haven't really played with her lately, and I've been wondering if I even care about her for a while now...

It's Chrissa. I love her hair, but there's not much to do with it for me.

I'm still trying to decide if I want to sell her, so PLEASE don't comment and be like, "I'll pay you $60 if you let me have her!" because I'll just get annoyed with comments like that, and you'll drop your chances of getting her from slim to slimmer.

I haven't posted in F-O-R-E-V-E-R!!!

How long has it been? Almost a month? Yikes! That's a bit too long for my liking!

But, I don't really blame myself(PSST!!! I REALLY DO!) because I haven't DONE anything doll related in a LOOOONNNGGG time, so it makes sense. But, I DID start making a steampunk outfit for my AG dolls, and so far I have lace leggings and a musical note bubble skirt. :D It's pretty darn cute, but I need to make the shirt. And belt. And order the boots... XD

And, SPEAKING of Steampunk stuff, I ordered the limited edition Dal! :D If you don't know what a Dal is, just google it, or go on Wikipedia and search, "Pullip". She's in the Pullip family, and I LOVE her SOOO much! She SHOULD be here tomorrow, because on the FedEx package tracking thing it said she was in a neighboring state, so THAT is AWESOME! I'll probably put pictures of her(AND some of Kylie, because I haven't showed her with her face paint. She looks JUST the way she does in my profile picture, but I'll probably change it soon so I can put a picture of my new Dal, whom I am renaming Rebbecca.)

So, that little ramble aside, I've been busy practicing for my Honor Band auditions for the three weeks or so following my absence(Yes, I tried out for the same Honor band Phoebe did, but the difference is that I SERIOUSLY screwed up my prepared flute song, and I'm fine with the fact that I didn't get in.) I ALSO tried out for Honor Jazz Band on Saxophone, but I got runner up. I found that REALLY unfair, because I realized when the results were posted on Monday that there was a REAL mistake in my music. I mean, it WASN'T how I played the stuff, but it was an A that was SUPPOSED to be a B, so then I was REALLY pissed off.

Also while I was gone, I've been watching Anime and Reading Manga and awesome stuff like that. Well, mind you I DO go to school, and I had projects and stuff, so YEEAAAHHHH.....

The shoes ARE one of the two pairs I ordered from releaserain on ebay, and I ALSO bought her wig there, but I got the last one. :) Sorry, shes' not ENTIRELY done(I still need to paint her lips purple. :( ) but She's in play-able condition, so I thought, "Hey, why DON'T I show the pictures???"

OMG OMG OMG!!!

Okay. So, a few days ago i ordered my doll in need of TLC, and I JUST got her in the mail, like ten minutes ago. And, after checking out the doll, I learned that I am NOW the proud owner of...

A PLEASANT COMPANY DOLL!!! :D A Kirsten, to be exact, but she has a bad haircut, she needs re-stringing, new stuffing, and her face paint is all worn off, but that's one of the reasons why 1 didn't just buy a NEW doll! So, YES, I WILL post a YouTube video of the pictures and everything, and for any of you future doll fixers that want to know how I do the stuff in the video(this WILL be a video, and I WILL post it, and I will slap myself in the face if I don't) I am using the guide to doll fixing(or something like that...) From:

www.justmagicdolls.com it's in the article section, and I HIGHLY recomend using it! I've ran through it a few times previously, and I know what to do, so be SURE to do that before working on your doll.

So, I will show you a before and after picture of Kylie(the doll I'm making) when I finish with her. :)

FIRST DAY OF SUMMER!!!

Three points. One: I got an Alto Sax. today, and I really suck... but then again, being a floutist, I've never used a reed before... Also, my cleaning... Thing got stuck, and I had to find a log pokey stick to get it out of the instrument... And when I FINALLY got the darn thing to work, I thought a duck was going to kill me! It was loud. :( I think I'm not traumatized...

Two: I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow! Where? ... I'm not telling, so I don't have a creeper that can find me... Not that I don't trust you lovely followers, just for privacy reasons...

Three: I'M TURNING THIRTEEN ON THURSDAY!!! I think this is the most important thing so far in my life, considering I(for some reason) told my mom that we ARE going to get cheese and candy on my birthday, because WHO doesn't like CHEESE AND CANDY!?!?! Other than Phoebe's doll Evey, who just doesn't like cheese... Why am I talking about cheese?!?! Oh yeah. Birthday cheese...

Thankful Thursday

1. my friend giving me a curly fry at lunch today.
2. that the common assessments I had to take today were EASY!!! :D
3. that I stood up for myself after someone acted like I was a freak from the moon
4. that my mean older brother is at his friends house today! :D
5. that I don't have to clean my pet's cages today
6. that my parent's camera with MY SD card in it is charged.
7. that I get a four day weekend!!! :D
8. that I wasn't bored playing my flute in band class today
9. that I'm making this post series
10. that my mom made coconut cream pudding pie(put pudding, preferably cook and serve by jello, into a pie shell. Chill it for four hours in the fridge)

EXCITING NEWS!!!!!

I AM SO HAPPY I'M GOING TO EXPLODE!!!!!! First of all, today is a snow day! That's enough to make a girl happy!!! Second of all, I go on to Blogger, and what do I see? 18 followers!!!!
