I love seasons.

I <3 Summer.

I love the way the soft colours of the tide pools at the beach feel when you step in them to see if it's too cold or not. I love just lying on my makeshift day-bed with my window open(which is right against my bed) reading a fun, happy book. I sometimes love cramming into a car to go on a summer vacation, only to get out of the car in ten hours.

I <3 Spring.

I love the soft, encouraging pastel colours peeping through their little flower buds, waiting to fully erupt in the summer. I love the new leaves on the trees, just beckoning me to go and check out their leaves's details. I love the refreshing sound of the little babbling creak near my house after it being frozen for three months.

I <3 Winter

I love the way the frost forms, where you can see how the ice crystallizes over the water. I love sitting in front of a warm, crackling fire, then later eating with my family for Christmas dinner. I love the hush that seems to fall throughout the land during the snowstorm, even though it will soon be filled with the laughter of children sledding, or having snowball fights.

I <3 Autumn.

I love the warming feeling of walking into my house to have that spectacular cinnamon smell that fills the air from all the baking going on. I love the feeling of my hands freezing the moment I walk out the door, wishing I had worn mittens, but instead shove my hands into my pocket. I love walking to a farmers market kind of place where they sell pumpkins, and they have fresh apples and awesome things to do.

What's my favourite season?

I don't have one.

I prefer to take each season as it goes. Yes, Spring is refreshing, with all the little buds on the vegetation and the warmer temperatures, but who DOESN'T love that feeling of knowing that you need to wear a sweater outside even though it's only September?

Winter is nice, with the smells of joyous laughter and merriment, but Summer is a nice break from school, and being able to go swimming.

This will lead me into happiness. You see, I've been a lot happier ever since I changed religions last Tuesday, and I've been feeling a lot more... Thankful. I've started a "three things you're happy for a day" journal, and It's really nice.

You see, I bought this EIGHT DOLLAR journal from Barnes and Noble on March fifteenth, but I couldn't think of how to use it! It was too pretty to write in as a diary. But THEN, the May issue of Better Homes and Gardens came(my favourite magazine, even though it's really my mom's subscription, and she liked it longer than I have!) and it said to relax yourself before bed by writing three things you loved about today. I liked that idea, so I started putting my highly over-priced journal to use! I've felt much more thankful for life ever since three days ago.

I took up reading again, and I forgot how awesome it was. AND, my "goodness"(he, sarcasm.) was rewarded today, because I FINALLY found our old lite brite thingy! :D Yeah, it's an old toy, but it's still fun! :)

My point for this post is to say I'm not dead, and to say that I'm really happy. :)

A bunch of whoas.

Okay. Well, now that I FINALLY have some free time with my newly arrived spring break, and being alone in the house for a while, I decided to catch you people up! So. On Tuesday, my AG stuff came!(I ordered AG stuff on Thursday) :D I got Kanani's collection, Willow(for my B-day, though. :( ) the chocolate gasses, birthstone earrings, the photographer outfit, Chocolate Chip, Kanani's PJ's,(which is for my birthday,) but her chair and the MAG travel set are back ordered. So, I have been ecstatic. Oh, and the Friday BEFORE I got my HUGE package, my mom gave me Lanie's pajamas, and her whole nature set and outfit. I'll show pics on my other blog later. I read my little Math story to a bunch of fourth graders on Friday, and It was alright. I had to ask them what Pi times 2.25 was, not because I didn't know what it was, but because I had to see if they knew how to solve for a circle's circumference. I went to a BUNCH of stores yesterday, and I was T.I.R.E.D. This included an exotic bird store my relative wanted to visit, because that's what her business revolves around. They had a Hyacinth Macaw at the store! :o Other than my usual laziness, I haven't done... WAIT! Yesterday morning at 8:08 A.M., I had to perform in a room with my ensemble, which meant I had to wake up at 5:40. :( Other than me(one of four flutes) and one of the three clarinet players, we SUCKED. Everybody else SUCKED. But, that's mean... :( That's really it this time. NOTHING else... WAIT! My relative and I cleaned my bedroom, so now Kanani has a bedroom! :D Okay, now that is SERIOUSLY it! :) What have YOU done in my absence? ~Miranda

Visitor! :D

Yup! We are having one of our relatives over right now! :D So I'm really, Really, REALLY happy about that! :D Okay, so, because of that, we have to take her sightseeing, :(, so I might not post a lot soon. The affected blogs are ALL the blogs under my name, including my doll blogs. Also, I'll probably be playing the video game I bought from my older brother, Legend of Zelda, the wind waker. It's really cool, you should play it sometime! :D Oh, and my Ron the orange pics. wil be up probably on Thursday night, considering I have to print them out tomorrow, and I most likely won't have the time to blog. :( I have to make a polymer clay sewing machine for Trixie the tomato to sew Ron some clothes. :) Which means That I will have to actually SEW clothes for an orange myself! It won't be hard, considering I'm just going to put a drawstring on a circle shaped piece of fabric. :( I got new socks yesterday, along with an AWESOME new lamp from Target! :D The socks are grey, blue, white, black/gray/blue argyle, gray/black/light grey striped, and there's a green/yellow/black/grey polka dot pair. THEY'RE BEAST!!! :D The lamp is brushed nickel with a blue glass thingy in the middle, and the lampshade is white with a kind of sort of paisley pattern. I'll just photograph the lamp soon, 'kay? :D ~Miranda

Ron the Orange! :)

No, I'm not just naming ANY random orange Ron! I'll explain what about... Okay, so for math class, we have to write and illustrate(I'm allowed to photograph because I asked, though) a children's book(FYI, It's the SAME thing Phoebe had to do with her book about coordinate plains) that teaches a math topic. I chose circumferences, and Ron the orange goes around to his friend's houses asking if they have a circumference so they could help him get new clothes. It's ADORABLE, and I took most of the pics. today, so expect a post about it sometime soon! :D There's Ron the orange, Barry the banana, Aaron the apple, and Trixie the tomato. Trixie's character WAS supposed to be Penelope the Pomegranate, but we couldn't find a pomegranate. :( It HAD to be a fruit in the shape of a sphere, so I chose a tomato. So, would you like to see the characters? You know what? I'll just post the pictures within the upcoming week, if you want. ~Miranda

The memories...

I remember the sweet feeling of childhood innocence... (PSST! I got this idea from Carlotta at pastor's girl's ponderings. Check out her blog! :) ) The lazy days of swimming in our deep pool, the 'chore' of raking the many leaves in our front yard, and jumping into the leaf piles with my older brother... the harsh winters filled with sled races and snow fights(I couldn't make a snowball, and still can't) and the cheery spring filled with mocking birds and Cardinals chirping at the arrival of Spring... Those were the days of childhood innocence. I remember how much I envied my older brother, and how he was in second grade and he had all these cool friends, and even though I was a girl and only four, they would let me follow them around on their little adventures, and they would play with me. I didn't think of them as my brother's friends, I also thought of them as my friends. We played an amazing version of tag, where there was a cat, mouse, dog, and a cheese(not real cheese, because I usually played the cheese) I would be chased around, squealing with the delight of being noticed. The early Summer days of just walking around my neighborhood, and collecting all the cool rocks I found for my rock collection. The summer days of just sitting at our computer, playing games like Barbie pet Rescue and the Game of Life; not caring that I had a play kitchen over there. I remember playing with my best friend Adriana in our five foot deep swimming pool, celebrating my birthday, her birthday, and my brother's birthday(not the brother previously mentioned) because the three of us had birthdays within two weeks of each other. I remember the day I could finally dive off the diving into the pool and touch the bottom of the pool. I also remember the days when I could open up my eyes under water without being harmed, and I retrieved the lost pool toys. I remember when my older brother lost my Kelly water play set underneath the water slide, and I couldn't swim over there on my own. I also remember when I got my first pair of snow shoes, and I wandered around aimlessly in our yard. My parents were so worried, they went out looking for me! It was during a blizzard, too, but I wasn't cold. I remember when I locked myself in the car because my om didn't drive up the big hill one day on our way home from Hannafords(it's a store, AND it's my cousin's last name! XD) Oh, and the time my older brother and I went sledding, and he accidentally pushed me down the hill... I slid down the hill on his new sled, and the sled flew up in the air when it hit the icicles reaching upward at the bottom. When my head hit our ice paved driveway, there was a five foot crack in the ice, but I didn't even get a concussion! I even remember my dad taking me to the doctor, just to make sure... I even remember the day when my older brother got his fist M rated game, and I told my teacher about it, and she told me that was great! :) I didn't get her sarcasm back then, but my brother was teaching me it ight when I asked him about it! :) Ah... If only I could relive those days of innocence, where everything I did was sweet... :') ~Miranda
