Sorry!!! Even though I really didn't do anything...

I just got back from LA,I'm tired, duh, it's 12:28a.m. I'm lame right now, I didn't post throughout the week because the hotel Wi-Fi wasn't free, neither was the plane's, so I couldn't post. I didn't do anything 'til my Dad came from work, so I was locked in a room all day, but on the bright side, I got seriously far in my bazillion DS games. But that's it. I watched the 4th hour of the TODAY show on NBC, which is always good. I now love flying, but NOT the takeoff or landing. I hate heights and high speed. My dad made me traumatized when he took me out for drives in his cherry red Corvette. But above the clouds, you can't tell you're 2 miles in the air, or going 570 miles an hour, it just feels like a car ride.Lily and I took lots of pics, we went to American Girl place which I didn't get to enjoy, since my dad wanted to leave as soon as possible, we couldn't eat lunch or we'd have to wait an hour. Nothing too terribly interesting after that, but here's smething weird, I like airport security. Yes, you just read I LIKE AIRPORT SECURITY. Some people think it's bad, but it's actually fun, and no, I'm not crazy. Well, maybe a little bit, but that's not the point. All I'm saying is I'm back safe and sound, right? Well GOOD NIGHT!!!

American Girl Place and what's happening post-wise...

Okay, so here's the thing. I am bringing my PSP, and it can go on the internet. All I need is WI-FI. Really good WI-FI connection. It already takes a little while for me to type my posts, so there won't be as many as I normally post.

BIG News!!! :)

Okay, so here it is, on Sunday, my dad and I are going to LA!!! Right when we get off the plane, we are going to American Girl place! We will spend the afternoon there, possibly have afternoon tea; and after that, we are going to the Labraya tar pits, I don't think I spelled it right, though... Then we will go to Hollywood!!! I am taking my doll Lily Tazo on the plane with me, and once we are done in LA, we will drive to Betura Beach, that's where our hotel is, so yeah... I won't be posting until at the earliest, next Friday. I will most likely post tomorrow, too.

10th post!!! :)

This is my tenth post! So, you have probably read that Elizabeth owns a shop, right? Well, Kirsten owns the convenience store across from Chrissa's Cafe. Kirsten's store also sells pets and stuufed animals for dolls. Chrissa's Cafe shares a wall with Elizabeth's store, La Robe Shoppe. Lanie is Elizabeth's apprentice and the only one that does any work. Lanie is also the landlord of the apartment building. Chrissa's Cafe is neighboring Sonali's Salon. There is one more store that isn't exactly connected to any of the other shops. Gwen's shop, La Lits et La Tables, Beds and Tables, shares a wall with the town center and Elizabeth's shop. I will have pictures soon. So for now, keep reading!!! :)

Food! And some personal life...

The best food is pellet food. You find pellet food wherever you can, but only buy it if it says for guinea pigs on it. Don't be cheap by buying the rabbit food, that doesn't supply your pet with the right nutrients. You can feed your pig fruit and veggie scraps that are uncooked and washed. Here is the safe food list: Orange, strawberries, asparagus, apple, carrot for sure, cantaloupe, watermelon, and you can feed cantaloupe and watermelon rind, and strawberry tops.

I currently have three guinea pigs, named in order of age, Nibbler, Hot Fudge, and Chocolate. Chocolate was in my first post, and I don't have a picture of Nibbler or Hot Fudge. I will have pictures soon.

Pottytraining, good or bad?

It all depends on how and where your pet will live, in a cage, or free roam? If you choose free roam, then you should potty train your pig. You first start by purchasing the litter box. Your pet should be comfortably sitting in it so he/she can do their business. Next, fill the litter box about one third of the way full of straw, then put soft litter on top that is different than your pets cage litter. Place some of your pets droppings in the litter box. Give your pet a few days to explore the litter box. Also, it is much easier to start with a baby guinea pig, old pigs don't understand the new tricks. When you see your pet eliminate in the box, treat him with his favorite food or a carrot. If their are other people who see him eliminate, ask them to treat your pet too, only treat him once, though. Some pets just don't get it, that's okay. Just leave your pet in a cage. He/she may just eliminate in the cage corners, which makes your job easier, too.

Advice about knowledge and choosing male or female

If you would like to know one of my info sources, when I was 7, I read a Guinea pig magazine. It has some of my info, but not nearly enough, if you're like me, it isn't enough. If I have at least 100 followers, I will say my favorite source besides the Internet.

(If you just got your first pet, and you want to breed, do not unless you are a true expert, more of an expert than me. But I'm not an expert.) So, a female and another female don't fight. A male and a male will fight if a female is in the same house. But a female and a male won't fight no matter what. A sow and a boar will mate if in the same cage. If you want a calm, lap pet, then a male is right for you. If you want a more easily agitated pet, in other words, a female, no little kids or you'll need the shovel again...

No books involved!!!

My profile pic is of my guinea pig Cody Jr. He died about a month ago from the mites. :(

Just so ya know, I am not reading out of a book, I memorized these proven facts for no apparent reason... I'm not a real expert, but, as I said, I'm pretty dang close. If you need advice, put it in my comments thingy and check it the next day. I will not reply to things about sick pigs, or, if
I do, I will say: Go see a veterinarian.

First advice snipet!

This is my adorable guinea pig Chocolate! He is an Abyssinian.

Anyway, if you are looking for a guinea pig as a pet, not food, look for one that is younger than 4 months old, but older than 2 weeks. Make sure all the pigs in the enclosure housed with the guinea pig you like have bright, clear eyes. If they don't, check another enclosure. If you can, hold your healthy favorite guinea pig for a few minutes to see if he/she is calm. If he/she is calm, healthy, and looks cute to you, hope you have $100 to $150, that includes the cage cost, food and water bottle cost, and, of course, the guinea pig cost. These animals grow up to weigh no less than 2 and a half lbs., and no more than 5 lbs. They can stretch out to be up to 1 foot long, and are normally 8-10 inches long. Guinea pigs make great pets, just don't let children 5 and under pet, hold, or (provoke(not recommended)) the animal without an adult around, or you may have a dead pet and need a shovel, or a bitten and upset child.
