New camera!!! YAY!!!

I am HAPPY, because this week, I will get a CAMERA!!! It's a Kodak® 14 MP Easy Share Digital Camera With Bonus Case, and my dad is going to buy it for me, because he gets a discount with his membership card at Big Lots! YAY!!! It will be with my first camera, and it is AWESOME!!! I do not know WHEN I will receive it, but I DO know it will be this week!!! YAY! Better pictures on Blogger is less than a WEEK AWAY!!! :D

I got a second pillow for my bed(yeah, I already have like, five decoration pillows, so why do I need a second sleeping/head pillow???) And I got some PRETTY washcloths for my face! This is sad for me to say, but I won't blog for the rest of today, and possibly some of tomorrow! This is torture for me, as most of you know, because I am OFFICIALLY addicted to blogger. Trees!

Hello, followers of my blog! I will now show you some trees! If you didn't already know, I have ALWAYS loved trees! Taking pictures of them is just ONE of my many hobbies, but I just couldn't figure out how to work it so that my pictures look good! (You may have noticed my failed attempts in my snow day posts...( I even draw trees! I won artist of the month at my old school by drawing a tree, I got a pack of markers!!! :D So, I will now present my gallery of trees I took today!!! :) Enjoy! I will now do a "memorial" service for my lizard, Liz. She was a great family member, even though I only knew her since three years ago. She doesn't talk, reply, or do anything significant, but she is still very close to my heart. Not close enough that I cried when she died, but I was still sad. I took this picture over the summer to show my cousin who LOVES bearded dragons, but I never showed her. This picture shows Liz shedding her skin, while having a piece of banana on her head. She looks cute, to me! I will always hold Liz close to my heart, even though she is no longer with us. Let her move on to whiter... deserts, I guess.

Liz is dead. My lizard. DEAD. I'm sad. She was only seven, and she only layed eggs once. I know she was constipated for weeks, and I'm pretty sure that killed her. :..( Her head is caved in, and I think she was in a coma when my mom said she was "hibernating." We had NO idea that she wasn't alive, not until my older brother told us that her head was... flat. She... Liz... No way... D:

Well, here's my school day...

Oh joy. I decided to FINALLY post about my life that ISN'T doll related! So, I would like to tell you about my school day!

So, first of all, I had to go to social studies. FIRST THING IN THE MORNING. That is TORTURE for someone like me! That means I have to wake up at seven o'clock to make it to my bus and all, and at 8:10, I have to do social studies. Which is, by the way, my LEAST favorite subject!

Next, I have science. Not the MOST exciting thing of the day, but it's way better than everything else! I had to use a dichotomous key to label creatures. Fun.

No, REALLY! It was FUN! :D

By now I have language arts with my two good friends Chloe and Hannah. Chloe is in all my 8 periods of the day, except for 6th. :( Hannah is in Language arts(which lasts two periods) and Jazz band with me. We all have lunch together. :D Language arts is BORING. I had to memorise ALL the prepositions, which I see NO point in doing, and then we had to write sentences out and label what part of the sentence they are. Joy.

Well, it's Jazz band(advanced band) now, and I get to play my flute! Out of like, fifty flutes that tried out, I was one of three flutists who made it! :D We played a lot. But the only downside is that there are three lunch times, and I used to have the first lunch of the day. Now, I have the LAST lunch, and I could hardly not starve until A-lunch!

So, of course, I just ate, and now I have to go to Gym. I HATE Gym, mostly because I'm a wimp. It didn't EXACTLY help that I have Hay Fever(kinda like asthma) and I had to run the pacer test today... I only made TWENTY. Twenty... I hate that number now... Because of the pacer test, I couldn't breath without my throat feel like it was going to explode, so I dropped out.

Yes, you don't need to tell me how not heroic I am. I LITERALLY almost passed out! I STILL can't breath right! It feels like I have a bad cold right now, even though I went to school today perfectly healthy!

I have band now. I know I already had band today, but that was JAZZ band, not AVERAGE band. So... it kind of sucks that way.

Math! Yea. I don't really remember anything significant in my first and last periods of the day, so... I guess this post is done, I think.

Other obsessions for today!

So, as most of you may know, I don't like to be popular, not that I am. I like to not go with or against "the flow" I go with whatever floats my boat. But, despite all this imperfect effort of mine, I still am obsessed with something popular! That small portion of me who wants to be normal, is officially obsessed with the song, "Hey, Soul Sister" by Train. Most of you either love this song, hate it, or haven't heard it. If you haven't heard it, go on YouTube(if you're allowed) and search hey soul sister official lyrics. It should have around thirty-one million views, and if it does, then click on it. I LOVE it!!! At least, not like the last post, this isn't a direct advertisement.

Remember, despite the fact that I'm not "normal" (UGH! I HATE THAT WORD!!) this is one of the few popular things I like. I also semi-like the song fireflies by owl city, but it's not like I have it on my ipod or anything!

My third and final obsession for the day is about the movie Jurassic Park! My older brother just recently found it in our movie cabinet, and I FLIPPED OUT! I had a spazz attack! I just re-saw it tonight, and I LOVED IT!!! Yes, I know it was released a month before my oldest brother was born in 1993-that would be June 11- and yes, that shows how much of a nerd I am! XD Well, even though I had practically NOTHING to post about, I will mention I have been wanting to listen to that song recently, and I watched Jurassic Park tonight, so I may as well tell you about it! :D

Oh my goodness, I absolutely LOVE their clothing! It's so... in, and I would LOVE to get some doll shoes, or buy some clothes patterns from there! Birthday Pie?!?!

This is a story post, so this means it's LONG!!! ;D Also, I let Lily post here, becuase she accidently typed the post on my blog, not hers!

"So, do you want your hair straightened, or curled?" Miranda asked Felicity.
"Curled! It HAS to look nice for tomorrow, and I've NEVER had it curled before"
"Okay! You'll have to wait for a while, though. I have a contract here saying I can't use hot tools on customers, so you have to wait for your hair to dry."
"Good thing I brought my AG magazines, then!!!"

A few dozen curlers and an hour later...

"There! All done! Do you like it?"

Felicity shook her head to bounce her curls around. They looked like they were made of red satin ribbon!

"OH MY GOSH! I LOVE IT!!!" She shrieked in excitement.
"AWESOME! I have to go set up the party now, so you can pay over here!"

Miranda led Felicity over to the counter after she got up. Felicity got out her purple clutch(it's a type of purse!) and took out a twenty dollar bill. The cash register dinged, and she strolled out of the salon.

"Ah... it's such a beautiful January morning! The air is crisp, it's snowing like mad, and tomorrow is my birthday!" She whispered to herself while spinning around in the snow.

I quickly caught up to her, after I got my hair curled, too, just to make it look a little bit better!

"Hey, Felicity! Aren't you EXCITED for the party?! Today is Hollie's official thirty-first day with us!"

"Of COURSE I'm excited for the party- wait! Don't you guys know what tomorrow is?"

"No, what is it?"
"MY THIRTEENTH BIRTHDAY!!!"
"Oh! That's tomorrow?! I thought it was NEXT Friday!"

She huffed and stormed off. I felt bad, because I'm the doll that plans parties and makes sure that birthdays and occasions don't overlap! I guess I failed.

Two hours later...

"Still no sign of Felicity?" Kirsten asked me.
"No, I haven't seen her since she stormed off!" I replied.

Gwen was out shopping with Hollie to keep her out of the house, Sonali made up a story to make Hollie not know it's a party, Elizabeth and Chrissa made the banners, and I handled the rest of the party with Lanie. Kirsten was baking Felicity a cake. Miranda was cleaning her room while we worked downstairs in the craft room.

According to Felicity, we had forgotten about her birthday.

That was not so. We ALL knew tomorrow was her birthday; in fact, I was the on that told everyone else what tomorrow was!

Time passes...

"How's your cake come- WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!?!?!" I yelled.
"A pie! I couldn't find a cake recipe for Felicity's birthday tomorrow, so I made a raspberry pie!"
"You KNOW she hates raspberries!" I screamed.

I went to Wal-mart, and I bought Felicity a birthday cake. It has chocolate and vanilla cake with vanilla frosting; her fave!

But seriously; birthday PIE?!?!?

Snow day Pictures!!! :D

I was in the mood to go outside and take some pictures of our few plants outside our house during this snow day! I took this ono of one of our mini pine trees in our backyard, and I didn't even use the zoom method!!! :D This one, down here, isn't one of my favorites, but... it's alright, I guess.

I LOVE how the snow is just sitting there, on the branches, waiting for a breeze to blow it away...

This branch is dead and all, but it still has some pine needles!

Do you see that blurry spot just to the right of the center? Well, that's a snowflake on the lens. We're supposed to get 5-8 inches of snow!

I kind of took this without looking, but I REALLY like it!

Well, I am having a snow day today, even though it WAS supposed to be a two hour early release! Yup, snows a falling, and to my surprise, no one has gone sledding yet! I know I'm almost ALWAYS the first one to go sledding, but they're going to BUILD A FLIPPING HOUSE RIGHT ON THAT HILL!!! So, I don't trust it anymore. I am SO upset, more upset than Phoebe was when she found out Felicity and Elizabeth were being retired! That shows how upset I am! Also, there is a forest RIGHT behind that house they may build, and I wanted to take some pictures there this summer! THAT'S why I am SOO upset!!! >:( That forest should be a nature preserve! It (bad word, bad word...) SO much, I want... (more bad words) and complain to the city! UGH! >:(

Don't the people who own the hill realize that kids like to go sledding there? Don't they realize that some of their neighbors,(ahem, me...) like to take pictures there? :(

Ramble #2 My dolls.

I have nine dolls, and by the end of the year, I will have at least ten. I will definitely get Kanani, and possibly Kit and Ruthie. It depends on whether or not Kit is being Retired this year!

Ramble #3 Photography.

I admit it. I don't want to be a veterinarian anymore. I would much rather snap a photo or two of something. If I had NEVER found Carlotta's blog, I would still want to cut open an animal and fix it's heart. You're welcome for me putting a graphic image in your head. It will most likely haunt you for the rest of the day.

There is just something magical about capturing the beauty of an everyday object. Hearing the little "click!" of my parents digital camera, for some reason, inspires me. I think I have found a passion. I would honestly rather wander in the forest, forever capturing the beauty that lies around me, than studying for a social studies test. By the way, Social Studies is my worst, and least favorite subject. For one thing, all my social studies teachers HATE me! All the ones I've EVER had! Well, there's a little more info. about me! Thank you for reading my rambles that I promised I would stop.

Ramble #4 Blogging.

Yes. I admit I'm addicted to blogging. I just enjoy reading other people's, or doll's, thoughts about life. I find it relaxing.

Ramble #5 Etsy.

Yes, I plan to one day, open an etsy shop. I would most likely sell my pictures, even though I don't know HOW I would! I would probably sell pictures that I printed out from my camera or something. Because honestly, who develops film anymore?!?!
